Hailing from Alabama this American singer-songwriter has enjoyed a hugely successful solo career since his departed fellow genre heavyweights Drive By Truckers in 2007. Along with his band, The 400 Unit, Isbell has bagged four Grammy Awards for his smooth Americana sound. With six solo albums to his name, Isbell now presents his latest work The Nashville Sound.

Brandi Carlile

Washington native Brandi Carlile showcases her latest album, By the Way, I Forgive You. Released earlier this year, this latest offering is the musicians sixth album. Self taught singer Carlile dropped out of school at the age of 16 to pursue a career in music. Teaching herself how to play the guitar and piano Brandi released her first album in 2005 to much critical acclaim, however it wasn't until the songstress' 2007 release The Story that she became a world renowned hit, and it's been up ever since!
