The Brand New Countryfied Musical

This bold narrative is expanded upon in Susan DiLallo and Dan Wackerman's brand new Southern-fried musical, which closes the Meadow Brooks 2019/20 theatre season.
Alongside the titular tune, the musical's score fuses classic country hits like Johnny Cash's 'Walk The Line', Loretta Lynn's 'Don't Come Home A-Drinkin' and even Carrie Underwood's 'Before He Cheats' with a revamped plot about a poor yet talented teen whose not content with her lot in life in Louisiana. Determined to become a country music superstar, Fancy leaves home with her beloved guitar and the clothes on her back, but soon finds the price of fame is sky high.
